The RKL4406 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It routes drive current and auxiliary control signals between Indramat servo motors and their inverters, allowing coordinated motion in automated machinery. Within an installation, the cable supplies three-phase power, control voltage and sensor feedback through a single molded assembly, reducing wiring volume and simplifying maintenance in dynamic axis or drag-chain layouts. Its design complements Rexroth drives that operate in high duty environments where continuous flexing, chemical resistance and electrical noise suppression are required.
The cable core is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, so it maintains conductor integrity in drag-chain applications that move day and night. During permanent installation the jacket may be curved down to a radius of 5 x D, while moving axes must respect a radius of 7.5 x D to avoid copper fatigue. An adhesion-free, matte PUR sheath shields the bundle from oil and coolant attack, and its bright RAL 2003 orange colour helps technicians trace power runs inside crowded cabinets.
