The RKL4340 is a preassembled motor power cable from Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is intended to connect IndraDrive or DIAX servo amplifiers to compatible synchronous motors, delivering main phase current through its copper cores and carrying brake or sensor signals through separate control pairs. In factory automation, the assembly simplifies wiring by combining power and auxiliary conductors in one jacket, reducing installation errors and providing predictable electrical characteristics along the entire run.
The cable is rated for 600 V AC, matching typical three-phase drive outputs. The four power conductors have a 4 × 16.0 mm² configuration, providing enough cross-sectional area to limit voltage drop over lengths supported by drives in the 30 kW class. For repetitive motion, the cable has a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D. Fixed routing inside a cabinet permits a tighter static bending radius of 5 × D without damaging the insulation. An overall diameter of 25.5 mm balances conductor area with a manageable clamp size, and factory-installed RLS1301/C16 and RLS1302/C16 connectors provide direct connections to compatible Rexroth motors and controllers.
