The RKL4325 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is designed to carry three-phase supply and auxiliary control signals between an IndraDrive controller and a synchronous or asynchronous motor in automated machinery. The cable integrates power conductors and pre-assembled connectors so installers can establish a robust electrical link without field crimping. Its construction supports continuous-motion applications where cable routing occurs inside drag chains or moving axes.

Electrically, the cable core diameter measures 12.2 mm, giving room for three power conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and a separate pair of control cores rated at 0.75 mm². These copper elements endure a mains potential of 600 V AC while presenting a loop resistance of 13.3 Ω/km, a level that limits voltage drop on lengths typical of machine frames. Factory-mounted plugs simplify termination: the controller side uses type RLS0722/K02, and the motor side uses RLS1301/C03. The internal geometry corresponds to bulk cable type INK0650, assuring electrical parameters remain consistent across manufactured batches.

Mechanical endurance is proven through 5 million bending cycles when the cable is guided in a chain. For dynamic movements it must be installed with a minimum radius of 7.5 x D, whereas stationary clamps may follow a tighter 5 x D curve. The PUR jacket, supplied in a matte adhesion-free finish, withstands abrasion yet remains flexible, and its orange shade follows RAL 2003 for clear visibility along guard rails. Material selection is Halogen-free, so combustion gases are less corrosive inside enclosed cells. Combined with validated drag-chain suitability, these features keep conductor insulation and signal integrity stable over long service intervals.
