The RKL4324 is a factory-terminated motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It connects drive controllers to moving servo motors in gantry modules, pick-and-place units, and compact machining axes, supplying three-phase power along with sensor and brake conductors in a single bundle. The cable is designed for continuous motion inside cable tracks, allowing it to be routed through tight spaces without additional conduit while maintaining the electrical integrity required by modern automation cells.
The power cores have a cross-sectional area of 10.0 mm², allowing the assembly to carry motor current with a modest voltage drop. The separate control pair has a cross-sectional area of 1.0 mm² and supports feedback or brake release signals. For fixed routing, the cable accepts a static bend radius of 5 × D. During dynamic motion, it maintains insulation integrity at a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D. The conductors are insulated and covered with a PUR jacket that resists oil and coolants. This jacket remains flexible up to the maximum operating temperature of 40 °C. The entire cable is rated for 300/500 V, making it suitable for the low-voltage requirements and standard clearances of typical drive systems.
