The RKL4315 cable assembly is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. As a preterminated motor power lead, the product links IndraDrive controllers to synchronous servomotors, delivering three-phase power and providing a protective-earth connection in automated machinery. It supports reliable power transfer while withstanding continuous motion on gantries, pick-and-place axes, and other dynamic industrial automation equipment. Its preassembled design reduces the amount of wiring required inside control cabinets.
The cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing it to move repeatedly inside cable tracks without premature conductor fatigue during long production runs. During motion, the cable requires a minimum dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D, which helps prevent copper strand fractures when the carrier flexes at high speeds. When the cable is installed in a fixed position, it permits a minimum bending radius of 5 × D, allowing compact routing inside enclosures. The power conductors have a cross-sectional area of 4.0 mm², providing the current-carrying capacity needed for compatible medium-frame IndraDyn motors. The protective-earth core uses the standardized GNYE color code, allowing it to be identified quickly during installation or maintenance.
