The RKL4314 is a ready-made motor power cable from Bosch Rexroth Indramat’s RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is delivered as a complete, factory-terminated assembly that links IndraDrive power stages to synchronous or asynchronous motors in automated machinery, carrying three-phase supply conductors along with auxiliary cores for brake or sensor circuits. By integrating matched connectors and a preselected conductor set, the cable reduces installation work and maintains consistent electrical characteristics in dynamic motion axes.
The mechanical life of the cable is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, meaning it can travel through continuous drag-chain motion without conductor fatigue. Electrical losses are limited by a copper loop resistance of 4.95 Ω/km, which helps keep voltage drop low over standard machine lengths. During operation, the jacket can bend repeatedly to a dynamic radius of 7.5 x D, and its overall cross-section is limited by an outer diameter of 17.0 mm. Power conductors with a cross-section of 4.0 mm² carry the motor’s phase current, while neighboring control pairs support brake or sensor circuits. These values set the allowable current load and thermal rise when the cable is routed beside other energy chains.
