It is a factory-terminated power lead that connects drive controllers to synchronous or asynchronous motors in automated machinery. The preassembled, series-matched connectors reduce installation work while providing the conductor sizing, shielding, and grounding required for dynamic motion axes. This arrangement also avoids the variability that can occur when connectors and cable components are assembled at the installation site.
This model is supplied as a ready-made assembly, so no on-site crimping or soldering is needed. At the drive end, it uses an RLS1101 connector, while the motor end uses a smaller RLS0721 plug. Both connector housings include coding that prevents cross-mating with incompatible interfaces. The copper conductors withstand up to 5,000,000 flex cycles, making the harness suitable for continuous-motion cable chains. Mechanical stress is limited by a dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D, while fixed routing permits a tighter bend radius of 5 × D.
