The RKL0084 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. As a flexible supply cable for servo axes, it routes drive power and control conductors from cabinet-mounted inverters to moving motors in automated machinery. The design is suitable for installations with drag-chain tracks, allowing continuous movement without excessive conductor fatigue during repetitive operation.

The cable is rated for 5 million flex cycles, indicating the number of mechanical repetitions it can withstand before conductor degradation becomes likely. To limit stress during dynamic travel, the minimum moving bend radius is 7.5 × D, while stationary loops may have a bend radius as small as 5 × D without compromising insulation integrity. An overall sheath diameter of 12.0 mm keeps the bundle compact while providing adequate wall thickness for abrasion resistance inside cable carriers. Copper losses are controlled by a direct-current resistance of 19.5 Ω/km, which helps users estimate voltage drop across long machine axes. The matte PUR jacket is adhesion-free, allowing cable-carrier links and adjacent cables to move without sticking during each operating cycle.

The cable uses separate conductors for control circuits and three-phase motor power. Two control conductors have a cross-sectional area of 0.75 mm², providing suitable capacity for enable or brake-release circuits, while the three-phase supply cores have a cross-sectional area of 1.0 mm² to carry servo motor current. Both conductor groups are insulated for up to 600 V AC, permitting connection to compatible Rexroth drive outputs without additional dielectric barriers. The PUR sheath is colored RAL 2003 (orange), making the motor power cable easy to distinguish inside crowded carrier trays and machine enclosures. Its abrasion-resistant outer surface protects the internal conductors from routine contact with carrier partitions during repeated travel.
