The assembly serves as the fixed link between an IndraDrive controller and a synchronous motor, routing three-phase supply current and protective earth in demanding automation stations. Pre-terminated plugs minimise installation time and provide stable impedance, so the cable supports accurate current regulation and low electromagnetic interference within multi-axis machinery.
Electrical performance begins with the bulk conductor set, identified as INK0603. This designation indicates finely stranded copper cores that balance flexibility and current-carrying capacity. Each core offers a conductor resistance of 4.95 Ω/km at 20 °C, limiting voltage drop over typical machine lengths. Between the conductors and the shield, the insulation system yields a discharge capacity of 0.8 nF/m, a value that keeps reactive currents low when the drive operates at high pulse-width-modulation frequencies. During motion, the cable may be routed through energy chains that impose tight loops; it withstands such movement with a dynamic bending radius of 7.5xD, maintaining insulation integrity.
