Internal Product Review
The RKL0032 is a ready-made motor power cable from the RKL series featuring a durable PUR jacket and drag chain suitability, making it an excellent choice for dynamic motion applications. With a conductor makeup of 4x6.0 + 2x1.0 + 2x1.5 mm² and a rated bending cycle life of 5 million, this cable supports long-term reliability in demanding environments. The robust connector pairing (RLS0747 on the drive side and RLK1301 on the motor side) ensures secure and efficient power transmission.

Product Description:
The RKL0032 motor power cable is a ready-made assembly produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. As a pre-terminated link between an IndraDrive controller and a synchronous motor, it delivers the three-phase supply conductors together with auxiliary sensor lines in a single robust sheath. In automated plants this component streamlines installation time, maintains electromagnetic compatibility, and ensures that drive output reaches the motor without excessive voltage drop or unwanted coupling.
The cable diameter measures 18.5 mm, giving enough cross-section to carry drive currents while remaining flexible for routing through machine frames. Internal copper conductors exhibit a resistance of 3.30 ohm/km, a value that limits I²R losses over typical servo-loop distances. A wear-resistant PUR outer jacket protects the bundle against cutting fluids, oil, and weld spatter often encountered on production floors. During dynamic motion the assembly can bend down to a radius of 7.5×D without exceeding mechanical stress limits, and tests certify endurance for 5 million flex cycles, supporting high-duty linear transfer systems and gantry axes.
Two coded connectors shorten commissioning: the drive end carries the RLS0747 plug, while the motor end is fitted with an RLK1301 receptacle, both keyed to avoid wiring mistakes. Because the cable is drag chain suitable, it can be laid in energy-guide carriers that subject it to constant acceleration without jacket cracking. When routed in a fixed installation it only needs a minimum curve of 5×D so cabinet interiors can stay compact. These mechanical allowances combine with the conductor makeup of 4×6.0 mm² power cores plus auxiliary pairs to match the current and feedback requirements of the company’s servo platforms.
