The RKL0024 cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as a member of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It functions as the power link between an Indramat drive and a motor, providing fixed-pin connections at each end so assembly time in an automation cell is minimized.

This model is specified for up to 5 million flex cycles, establishing its suitability for continuous motion tracks and robotics. Because it is delivered as a Ready-Made assembly, no onsite crimping or over-molding is required. During operation in an energy chain the conductors may bend to a minimum dynamic radius of 7.5×D, while static routing can be tightened to 5×D when the cable is clamped. A prefitted motor-side connector type RLK1201 mates with standard Rexroth power terminals, and the drive-side plug is the keyed RLS0747 to prevent wiring errors. These molded connectors assist in strain relief and maintain the PUR jacket’s ingress rating when the cable is in motion.

Four shielded control cores sized at 4×0.75 mm² are integrated for brake release or temperature sensing circuits, eliminating the need for a separate feedback line. The outer sheath is colored RAL 2003 (orange) for quick identification inside control cabinets, and the material is a halogen-free PUR that resists oils and coolants encountered on machine tools. Continuous service is permitted between -30 to +80 °C; the same limits apply for storage when the cable is on the shelf.
