The RKL0020 cable supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is a factory-terminated power lead intended to link IndraDrive servo amplifiers to synchronous motors, carrying three-phase current while maintaining electromagnetic compatibility in automated machinery. By combining preassembled connectors with a flex-rated jacket, the cable reduces installation time and supports consistent power delivery in dynamic machine axes. Its terminated design also avoids the need to prepare conductor ends or attach power connectors during installation.
The RKL0020 is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing continuous motion in high-duty robotic applications and moving cable tracks. During operation, the external sheath may flex repeatedly, so a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D helps prevent conductor fatigue. Stationary sections can be routed with a tighter 5 × D static bending radius without exceeding the cable’s routing limits. The phase conductors have a cross-sectional area of 1.0 mm², providing power transfer with low resistive losses for small to midsize motors. The assembly is the Basic version and uses a standard PVC outer jacket that balances flexibility with abrasion resistance.
