The RKL0016 is a ready-made motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It delivers three-phase power and auxiliary control signals from an IndraDrive controller to a synchronous servo motor in automated cells, gantries, and articulated robots. The product’s role is to provide a pre-assembled, mechanically flexible connection that withstands continuous motion while keeping electrical losses low and installation times short.

The control cores inside the sheath are sized at 0.75 mm², which is sufficient for encoder reference voltages and brake release circuits, while the main phases use a larger 1.5 mm² cross-section to carry motor current without excessive heating. During motion, the cable can flex down to a minimum dynamic loop of 7.5xD; this radius limits copper fatigue and preserves shield integrity inside drag chains. When the machine is stationary, a tighter fixed routing of 5xD is permissible because no cyclic strain is applied. The conductors and insulation are rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, enabling long service life on axes with high stroke counts such as pick-and-place robots or linear transfer modules.

The outer jacket compound follows the Bosch Rexroth specification INK0650, giving abrasion resistance and oil tolerance needed in machining environments. On the drive side, the cable terminates in a keyed circular connector coded RLS0745/K02, ensuring quick coupling to the power module. The motor end is equipped with an angled plug identified as RLS1201/C03; its interface follows the industrial M40, 9-Pin pattern so it mates directly with Rexroth motors that use the same geometry. Supplied as a power-cable variant in the ready-made format, the assembly removes the need for on-site crimping and guarantees connector pin-outs that match factory standards.
