The RKL0014 cable is a factory-manufactured motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is supplied to connect a drive controller to a servo motor inside automated machinery, carrying the phase and protective-earth conductors while withstanding the fast motion cycles typical of handling systems and gantry axes. Because the assembly is delivered fully tested, panel builders can install it without field crimping or additional shielding work.
The RKL0014 is defined as a ready-made cable, meaning both ends are pre-terminated and service ready. Its polyurethane outer jacket protects the conductors and fixes an outer diameter of 12.0 mm, a size that fits standard energy-chain clamps. The jacket is colored Orange (RAL 2003) for quick identification of power wiring in mixed cable trays. When installed statically, the cable can be curved with a minimum radius of 5xD, whereas moving machine elements must respect a dynamic radius of 7.5xD; observing these limits preserves insulation integrity across the specified 5,000,000 bending cycles. The PUR sheath also resists oils and coolants, so no extra conduit is needed.
Signal integrity is supported by a Total Shield that surrounds all cores and drains high-frequency interference to ground.
