The RKL0009 is a flexible motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed for servo and spindle installations, the cable carries motor phase conductors and auxiliary control cores from the drive cabinet to the machine axis. Combining these conductors in one assembly simplifies routing through cable chains and helps maintain electromagnetic compatibility in automated production cells. Preassembled RLS1101 and RLS0722 connectors attach directly to the corresponding motor and drive sockets, reducing the risk of wiring errors during installation.
The cable withstands 5,000,000 bending cycles when used in continuous-motion drag chains. To prevent conductor fatigue, moving sections must maintain a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D, while fixed runs can use a tighter radius of 5 × D. Both limits are relative to the cable’s outer diameter and indicate how sharply the assembly may turn without damaging its conductors or insulation. A chemically resistant PUR outer jacket protects the internal cores from cutting fluids and oil mist. Molded strain-relief collars on the RLS1101 connector support the cable where repeated movement places additional stress on the termination.
