The RKH0905 hybrid cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKH Hybrid Cables series. This preassembled cable carries power, control signals, and grounding conductors between a servo drive and its motor in automated production cells. By combining several transmission paths inside one flexible sheath, the cable reduces the number of connectors and simplifies routing through drag chains. Its consolidated layout also avoids the need to route separate encoder, brake, and power leads along the same machine axis.

The cable is supplied as a ready-made assembly, meaning both ends are terminated at the factory and do not require field crimping. Its classification as a hybrid cable indicates that copper power cores and signal pairs share the same outer jacket while retaining their individual electrical functions. The cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, making it suitable for continuously moving carrier chains on gantry axes and other automated equipment. During motion, the cable can flex to a minimum dynamic radius of 10 × D without placing excessive strain on its conductors. A stationary installation permits a tighter minimum bend radius of 5 × D, which provides additional routing flexibility in confined machine spaces. One end is fitted with an RHS0011 plug connector that mates directly with compatible Rexroth motor interfaces.

The opposite end uses a keyed RHS2322 industrial connector, providing a polarity-safe connection to the drive cabinet. The cable supports continuous operation at temperatures as low as -40 °C and as high as 80 °C. This temperature range allows the assembly to operate in cold-storage machinery and warm electrical enclosures without thermal derating. The cable uses a Basic build level, while its flexible sheath protects the combined conductors during repeated movement.
