The RKH0213 is a preassembled hybrid cable supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the RKH Hybrid Cables series. It combines motor power, encoder feedback, and auxiliary conductors within a single polyurethane jacket, allowing one cable to be routed instead of several separate lines when wiring servo axes or gantry systems. The assembly is intended for moving-axis energy chains and other dynamic routing paths found in packaging, printing, and material-handling equipment. Its combined construction also helps reduce the number of separate cable runs that must flex together during machine motion.

For repetitive motion, the cable is rated to endure 5,000,000 bending cycles without conductor breakage. When the carrier is in motion, the recommended loop diameter is limited to 10xD, while in fixed trays the bend can be tightened to 5xD. Adhering to these radii helps reduce mechanical stress on copper strands and shields during repeated flexing. Supplied as a ready-made harness, the unit arrives crimped and jacket-sealed at the factory, reducing field termination work. The drive-side connection uses the keyed circular plug RHS0011, which provides correct orientation, 360-degree shielding transfer, and integrated strain relief for high-frequency inverter outputs.

As the Basic model in the family, RKH0213 uses a standardized outer diameter and core layout that keeps routing space consistent across multiple machine platforms. The motor-end interface is the 12-pin RHS0016, which carries three phase conductors, control voltage, and differential encoder pairs through a single locking shell. The cable operates in ambient temperatures from -40 °C up to 80 °C, and the same limits apply during storage, which helps prevent jacket embrittlement on warehouse reels. A moisture-resistant outer sheath and tin-plated copper grounds help protect insulation resistance and connector integrity during prolonged idle periods and seasonal plant shutdowns.
