Intended for motion axes that flex continuously, this assembly carries motor power, encoder feedback, and auxiliary conductors in a single jacket to minimize drag-chain clutter. It is fully terminated for direct connection between drive and motor modules without on-site crimping or pin assignment, reducing wiring errors in automated packaging lines, gantries, and other industrial equipment.
The cable has a flex life of 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing deployment in high-duty energy chains. During motion, the conductors may bend to a dynamic radius of 8 × D without exceeding copper strain limits, while stationary routing may follow a tighter static radius of 4 × D because no cyclic fatigue is induced. Both ends are equipped with a shielded RHS0021 circular connector, eliminating field soldering and preserving signal integrity across the combined power and feedback pairs.
