The RKG4203 is an encoder cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKG Encoder Cables series. It links position feedback devices to drive controllers, transmitting differential signals without interference so that motion axes stay synchronized in automated machinery. As a ready-terminated assembly, it shortens wiring time and provides a predefined electrical path that meets the shielding and impedance demands of high-resolution encoder systems.
This cable is supplied as a Ready-Made assembly, reducing installation time because the conductors arrive pre-terminated. During continuous motion, the outer jacket endures 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing long service inside drag chains. Flex stress is controlled by a dynamic minimum loop of 7.5xD and a static bend radius of 5xD, preventing conductor fatigue. The permitted operating temperature spans -40 to +80 °C, so the insulation maintains dielectric strength in freezers or near industrial ovens.
The mechanical limits described above are matched by field-ready terminations. An INS0760/C01 plug on the controller side mates with Rexroth inverters, while the encoder end uses an RGS1001/C01 connector that locks against vibration.
