The RKG4201T005 is an encoder feedback cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKG Encoder Cables series. Designed specifically for servo and spindle axes, the assembly carries incremental or absolute encoder signals from the motor to the drive controller while withstanding high cycle counts that are typical of continuously moving machine elements. By combining flexible conductors with a polyurethane sheath, the product supports energy-chain routing and helps maintain accurate positional data in factory automation cells.
Its flex-rated construction survives up to 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing continuous operation in cable carriers without premature conductor fatigue. The outer diameter measures 8.5 mm, which fits standard Rexroth strain-relief elements and simplifies cabinet routing. During motion, the cable can follow a dynamic loop with a minimum radius of 7.5 × D, while static routing inside the enclosure may use a tighter 5 × D radius. These limits reduce stress on the copper strands and help preserve signal integrity.
