It links motor-mounted encoders to drive controllers in CNC machines, packaging lines, and assembly robots, delivering the differential feedback signals required for precise closed-loop positioning. The cable is built for continuous motion in energy-chain applications. Its design provides the mechanical fit and electromagnetic compatibility needed for use with Rexroth connector standards across the manufacturer’s drive platforms.
Service life in moving cable carriers is supported by 5 million bending cycles, limiting conductor fatigue during rapid reciprocation. Installation guidelines specify a minimum fixed bend radius of 5 × D and a dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D; staying within these limits prevents jacket cracking and maintains characteristic impedance. The molded encoder plug uses the RGS1001-REG0748-INS0760 configuration, allowing quick connection to MSK and MDD motor feedback ports without field termination. During storage and transportation, the cable remains flexible from -30 to +40 °C, allowing prefabricated assemblies to be stored without jacket embrittlement or shield delamination. Its chemical stability is retained throughout this temperature range, helping keep the PUR insulation free from discoloration and microcracks.
