The RKG4200T011 is a flexible signal cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKG Encoder Cables series. It links an encoder on a moving axis to its drive controller, transmitting position and velocity data required for closed-loop motion control. The cable is built for installation in energy-chains and other dynamic routing paths where continuous flexing, electrical noise, and exposure to lubricants must be managed simultaneously.
Mechanically the cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing long service life in drag-chain applications. A Total Shield of foil and braid surrounds the twisted signal pairs to block electromagnetic interference. While the machine is running, the smallest permissible loop is a 7.5xD dynamic bending radius, preventing conductor stress. Factory-mounted terminations simplify installation: the encoder end is fitted with a RGS1001 plug, and the control-cabinet end carries a INS0760 connector.
