The RKG0041 cable is a factory-terminated encoder lead produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKG Encoder Cables series. It links the encoder mounted on a synchronous motor or linear stage to the associated drive controller, carrying the position feedback signals required for closed-loop motion control. Because it arrives preassembled with matched plugs, the cable reduces installation time and maintains consistent signal transmission across demanding industrial automation layouts.
The conductors and jacket are rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, allowing the assembly to travel in energy-chain carriers without premature fatigue. During motion, the cable must maintain a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D, while stationary routing permits a tighter bend radius of 4 × D. These ratios protect the copper strands from excessive tensile stress during routing and repeated movement. Factory-crimped connectors simplify field wiring: the motor-side plug is the circular INS0753/C01 type, and the control-cabinet end terminates in a rectangular RGS0001/K01 receptacle that connects directly to compatible Rexroth HCS or IndraDrive encoder ports.
