The RKG0037 encoder lead is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKG Encoder Cables series. It serves as the flexible link that carries incremental or absolute position signals between motors and drive controllers, allowing closed-loop motion control in automated machines, gantries, and transfer lines. By pairing factory-terminated connectors with a torsion-resistant bulk cable, the assembly reduces wiring errors and maintains signal integrity in dynamic cable tracks where continuous movement could otherwise impair feedback reliability.

The cable core is manufactured from the INK0532 bulk type, a fine-stranded construction selected for continuous flex duty. Thanks to its rating for 5,000,000 bending cycles, the assembly can be routed through energy chains without premature conductor fatigue. At the motor end an INS0379 (C01) connector is fitted; its sealing ring aligns with the M23 17-pin interface so the encoder channels, supply lines, and shielding all terminate on a single keyed plug. During operation the copper conductors can follow a dynamic routing radius of 7.5xD, where D is the outer diameter, preventing signal distortion caused by over-tight cable loops.

When machines stand still for tool changes or maintenance, the sheath only needs to observe a static routing of 5xD, limiting mechanical stress while panels remain closed. The assembly preserves insulation properties from -30 °C up to +80 °C in ambient service, so both refrigerated facilities and high-temperature production cells can share a common feedback harness. For cabinet-side termination, an INS0643 (C01) plug mirrors the pin layout of the motor connector, allowing straightforward field replacement without additional crimping or soldering.
