The RKG0026 is an encoder feedback cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKG Encoder Cables series. The component forms the dedicated link between an incremental or absolute encoder and the associated drive controller in industrial automation lines. By carrying differential position signals alongside auxiliary supply conductors it supports closed-loop velocity and position control. The factory-terminated ends eliminate field wiring, and the cable’s continuous-flex structure allows routing through drag chains and articulated robot arms without compromising signal integrity.
The conductor package is manufactured from bulk cable type INK0280 and houses a layout of 3 single 0.25 mm² cores plus three shielded twisted pairs of 0.25 mm² and two 1.0 mm² power cores, expressed as 3x0.25 + 3x(2x0.25)StC + 2x1.0 mm². This arrangement separates feedback signals from auxiliary voltage and reduces crosstalk. The PUR jacket, specified as resists oils and cutting fluids while avoiding sticking to adjacent cables. Overall diameter is 10.0 mm, supporting compact cable trays. During motion the assembly tolerates a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 x D and survives up to 5000000 continuous bending cycles in drag-chain duty.
