It links motor-mounted measuring systems to the controller cabinet, carrying incremental or absolute position signals while also supplying sensor power, so it is installed wherever precise closed-loop control is required in automated machinery.

Mechanical durability is defined by 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing repeated motion in highly dynamic cable tracks. During continuous flexing the minimum loop is 7.5 x D, while fixed installation requires only a 5 × D radius, preventing conductor fatigue.
