A matched pair of connectors maintains signal integrity throughout the cable run and supports operator panels, drive controllers, or vision modules that use embedded DisplayPort interfaces. Its flexible design also allows routing through moving equipment where rigid video cables would be unsuitable.
The conductors and shielding are engineered for 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing the cable to operate in dynamic drag chains without early fatigue. For moving installations, the minimum bending radius is 7.5 × D, where D represents the cable’s outer diameter. This radius provides predictable strain relief as the cable accelerates, decelerates, and changes direction with the surrounding machinery.
