The RKB0062 cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKB Control Cables series. It provides an industrial Ethernet link between controllers, drives, and field devices that exchange real-time data in automated machinery. The finished cable assembly preserves the required impedance and supports continuous motion inside drag chains without degrading signal integrity.
The cable has a ready-made assembly with both ends fitted at the factory, eliminating the need for on-site crimping. One side carries a Mini I/O I plug, while the opposite end terminates in a Mini I/O II plug for direct connection to compact drive or I/O ports. Data transmission complies with CAT5 requirements, allowing the cable to maintain 100 Mbps Ethernet communication over its installed length. During repeated machine cycles, the jacket and conductors are subjected to continuous bending as the cable travels through a carrier. Under dynamic motion, the cable must maintain a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D to reduce stress and prevent premature conductor fatigue. Its twisted-pair conductors support standard TCP/IP traffic and deterministic fieldbus communication used by industrial automation equipment.
