The RH2-025DBB encoder cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RH2 Encoder Cables series and is supplied as a hybrid lead that carries motor power and feedback signals in one sheath. In automated machinery, this single-route wiring reduces the amount of panel space required for cable routing. It also simplifies installation by replacing separate power and feedback cables with one combined assembly. The shared cable path helps keep the feedback connection aligned with the corresponding motor power connection throughout moving machine sections.
The cable is rated for 5,000,000 flexing cycles, making it suitable for continuously moving axes such as linear robots and drag-chain carriers. Its classification as a hybrid cable means that the power conductors, signal pairs, and shielding are combined within one jacket, eliminating the need for parallel cable runs. A single-cable connection interface mates directly with compatible IndraDrive motors, so a separate encoder plug is not required. The copper conductors can carry up to 15.6 A, supporting medium-frame servo motors while limiting excessive conductor heating. During dynamic motion, the jacket can bend to a minimum radius of 7.5 × D. Maintaining this bend radius protects the conductor arrangement and preserves signal integrity for high-speed encoder pulses.
