The RH2-022EBB is an encoder and power lead from the RH2 Encoder Cables series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Designed for second-generation Rexroth drives, it combines motor supply and position feedback lines in one assembly to simplify routing inside machines and link axes to the controller through a single M23 hybrid interface.

This basic hybrid cable groups four power cores of 2.5 mm² with shielded feedback pairs, delivering up to 600/1000 V on the power layer while the signal layer remains within 450/750 V. An overall diameter of 15.8 mm allows tray or energy-chain installation, and the jacket tolerates a fixed bending radius of 5 × D without conductor fatigue. Inside the PUR sheath sit 4 × 2.5 mm² power conductors, 2 × 0.75 mm² auxiliary cores, and 4 × AWG24 encoder wires arranged as [4L + (2 × 0.5 mm²)C + (4 × AWG24)]StC, so both braking voltage and encoder data travel through one connector.

The orange PUR (RAL 2003) jacket resists cutting oils and stays flexible up to +80 °C; continuous motion remains possible down to -20 °C, while static installs withstand –30 °C during plant shutdowns. Dynamic applications may bend the cable to 7.5 × D, and the sealed M23-Hybrid S plug maintains shielding integrity for high-resolution feedback. Being a 2nd Generation member of the Rexroth Cables product group, the design meets current EMC guidelines while retaining the lightweight “Basic” construction that reduces drag in cable tracks.
