The RH2-013BBB is an encoder connection cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied in the RH2 Encoder Cables series. In feedback loops for servo drives, the cable routes encoder power and differential signals between motor and controller so that position data reach the drive without loss or delay.

This model follows a Basic design with a PUR (Orange RAL 2003) outer jacket that resists abrasion and most cutting fluids. Inside, the conductors are arranged as [4x L + (2x 0.5 mm²)C + (4x AWG 24)]StC to carry logic, supply, and shielding in one run; the PP insulation prevents moisture wicking along the bundle. Being specified as Hybrid Cables, it transports both encoder cores and power in the same sheath, reducing machine-side wiring. Each power core has a cross section of 0.75 mm², giving suitable current capacity for most 24 V encoder loads. When permanently installed, the copper can operate up to +90 °C and the cable may be bent down to a fixed radius of 5 × D without stressing the jacket or insulation. Under dynamic routing, the flexible temperature limit is +80 °C and the minimum bend radius enlarges to 7.5 × D.

The second-generation layout supports a torsional swing of ±30°/m, making it compatible with rotary tables and robotic wrists. Durability testing certifies at least 5,000,000 flex cycles, while a minimum insulation resistance of 500 MΩ/km maintains low leakage for encoder accuracy. As a 2nd Generation member of the Rexroth Cables product group, it also carries full oil resistance for machining environments and remains listed in factory documentation under that family.
