This cable follows a Basic construction in its 2nd Generation design and supports digital signaling through twisted pairs sized at 0.20 mm² for the encoder channels and 0.50 mm² for the auxiliary conductors. Electrical insulation allows a continuous working level of 300 V on both power and signal cores. Mechanically, the PUR jacket is rated for at least 5,000,000 cycles of continuous motion, provided bending in fixed routing stays within a minimum arc of 4 × D. These limits help integrators plan cable tracks that avoid premature conductor fatigue in dynamic robot axes and gantry systems.
When the installation must flex during every machine cycle, the bending radius can be reduced to 7.5 × D without jeopardizing lifetime. The external sheath is molded from PUR (Orange RAL 2003), offering abrasion resistance and visibility inside crowded control cabinets. With an outside diameter of 7.2 mm, the cable fits standard drag-chain separators while preserving the cross-section needed for differential signaling.
