The Bosch Rexroth RD52.1-4B-160-R-V1-FW is a universal drive system. It can be used in industrial applications with various induction and synchronous motors. The power section on the drive is designed for cooling at the rear. The RD52.1-4B-160-R-V1-FW is designed for liquid cooling and comes with an internal pump for the liquid coolant. Commissioning of the RD52.1-4B-160-R-V1-FW can be done from a PC based software known as RDwin. The drive can also be commissioned from an optional control panel. The nominal output of the drive is 160 kilowatts. The overload capability of the drive is 170% for 1 second. A type label is attached to the drive and lists information including drive type code, firmware type code, input ratings and output ratings. The information on the type label should be verified at the time of equipment delivery to ensure that it matches the order.

The RD52.1-4B-160-R-V1-FW drive converter includes an integrated brake chopper. The drive can be operated at three different pulse frequencies which are 12 kilohertz, 8 kilohertz and 4 kilohertz. At 12 kilohertz, the rated current is 170 Amps, the peak current is 221 Amps and the rated output is 112 kVA. At 8 kilohertz, the rated current is 230 Amps, the peak current is 299 Amps and the rated output is 151 kVA. At 4 kilohertz, the rated current is 290 Amps, the peak current is 377 Amps and the rated output is 191 kVA. The input rating of the drive converter is 380 to 480 Volts AC. The RD52.1-4B-160-R-V1-FW supports one additional function which is 24 V standby power. An external power supply is required for this feature. The drive firmware is ordered separately. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
