The unit forms the power stage between a three-phase mains supply and the motor, integrating energy dissipation and line conditioning components needed for cabinet-mounted industrial automation. Its architecture supports conveyor lines, pumps, and material handling axes where scalar regulation is adequate.

Electrical performance is based on U/f curve control, a scalar method that links output voltage to frequency so magnetizing current stays more consistent as speed changes. The converter accepts a line window of 380 to 480 V, allowing installation on worldwide 400 V class networks without tap changes.
