Product Description:
The RS51.1-4G-003-D-NN-FW/S150 drive control produced by Bosch Rexroth supports vertical mounting orientation on a flat surface. There must be a clearance distance of at least 100mm over and below the product for an unrestricted airflow. The device has hazardous voltages for up to five minutes after switching it off because of the DC link capacitors. This unit is equipped with a start inhibit mechanism. Its X1 terminal is used for the line supply connection and features the protective conductor connection. The enclosure comes with a metal lug featuring a captive nut. It is possible to connect the control to a PC or an operator panel through a RS 232 service interface.
The product encompasses three LEDs that light up in red, green and/yellow colors. The device is ready to power up when one of the LEDs lights up in bright green color. Its basic parameterization supports quick setup that features selected parameters such as motor adaptation and ramp up/down time for fast commissioning. The parameters of the drive control can be changed using a password and also be reset to the factory setting by setting the Load parameter value to P0071. Its main contactor gets de-energized when there is a fault and the corresponding fault message is highlighted.
The drive control is designed for deployment with high-speed grinding spindles in machine tools. The product should never be used in hoisting equipment, cranes and elevators. The device should be secured against direct contact with the machine that houses it.
