It converts incoming plant power to a variable-frequency, variable-voltage output that governs standard asynchronous motors in material-handling, packaging, and utility pumping stations. It is intended for variable-speed duties where process demand changes throughout operation. With the required control software installed, the unit serves as the central actuator interface for automated machinery where speed control and torque adjustment are essential for repeatable throughput.

Its three-phase input is rated for 380 to 480 V, and the unit uses a Converter 3 x AC topology for direct connection to industrial low-voltage networks. Design tolerances of ±10% on the mains help the inverter ride through the voltage dips and swells that occur around heavy equipment starts.
