The Bosch Rexroth RD52.2-5B-015-L-A2-FW drive control must be disconnected from electric power using a master switch when it is being cleaned, repaired or kept unused for a long period. This product has to be allowed to cool down for at least half an hour after it is turned OFF before it is accessed. The device has to be handled using appropriate moving or lifting equipment. It should be ensured that there is no pinching or crushing during the handling and installing process. The unit can be used with a wide range of synchronous and induction motors from the manufacturer.
The drive control operates similar to a converter with a nominal connecting voltage of 3 x 500VAC with a tolerance of +/-10%. The electronic boards and modules of the product are meant to be touched only if absolutely necessary. The device is in adherence with the EMC directives pertaining to noise emission and noise immunity in accordance with EN 50082-2 specifications. The unit comes with 20A rated current at 8kHz pulse frequency. It deploys a forced air cooling mechanism.
