The Bosch Rexroth RD52.2-4B-015-L-NN-FW is a 15 kilowatts rated drive system. It is not equipped with additional functions. However Bosch does offer a number of additional functions that can be included at the time of ordering: these include filter current feedback, starting lock-out and external backup power. Cooling modes offered with RD52 drives include forced air cooling, heat dissipation panel and plug-through cooler. The RD52.2-4B-015-L-NN-FW supports forced air cooling. The ambient temperature range for drive operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. To maintain this ambient temperature range Bosch recommends a minimum airflow rate of 0.05 cubic meters per second. If this airflow rate is not maintained, or if the ambient temperature exceeds the recommended range for some other reason, then the drive output will reduce below rated values. In extreme cases the RD52.2-4B-015-L-NN-FW can also malfunction.
The RD52.2-4B-015-L-NN-FW should not be operated if the temperature of the surrounding air goes above 50 degrees Celsius. Degree of protection offered by the housing of the RD52.2-4B-015-L-NN-FW drive is IP20: hence the drive requires cabinet mounting as the housing does not offer adequate protection from dust and moisture. The converter with integrated brake chopper on the RD52.2-4B-015-L-NN-FW is rated for three-phase 380 to 480 Volts AC input. The brake chopper has continuous power rating of 7.5 kilowatts, a peak power rating of 37 kilowatts and a minimum resistance of 17.5 Ohms. Different methods are available for configuration of the drive including an optional user panel, PC-based management software and serial communication interfaces. The optimal and reliable performance of the drive is dependent upon proper installation and implementation of safety instructions. Only qualified personnel should install the RD52.2-4B-015-L-NN-FW drive. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
