The Bosch RD52.1-8C-030-L-NN-FW is a SFT inverter. The SFT (Sinus Frontend Technology) was developed as an extension of the RD 500 model line in order to turn these units into a drive system that is able to work for energy recovery as well. The functionality and technical specifications of SFT inverters correspond to those of RD 500 models except the following: there is no internal control transformer incorporated, power indications are adapted and the intermediate circuits lacks capacitive connection to ground. Power rating of the SFT inverter is 30 kilowatts and it operates at 700 Volts DC. The supported range of output frequencies of the RD52.1-8C-030-L-NN-FW is 0 to 250 Hertz. The rated output current of the inverter is 44 Amps. The output current can peak at 57 Amps, 74 Amps and 87 Amps for time durations of 60 seconds, 1 second and 0.5 seconds respectively.
The rated apparent power output of the RD52.1-8C-030-L-NN-FW is 39 kVA. The apparent power output can peak at 50 kVA for 60 seconds. Forced air cooling mode is supported on the inverter.
