Product Description:
The Bosch RD52.1-7N-037-L-NN-FW is a RD52 series drive controller. It is designed for motors rated for up to 37 kilowatts. The RD52 series from Bosch is designed for industrial applications that include chemical and process technology, machine tools, handling and assembly systems and packing machines. The RD52.1-7N-037-L-NN-FW is based on an inverter rated for 530 to 670 Volts DC. Inverters for RD52 drives are available with and without brake choppers. The inverter on the RD52.1-7N-037-L-NN-FW is without a brake chopper. The controller dissipates heat generated during operation through forced air cooling. This cooling method is dependent on fans and blowers that increase the rate of air flow. Bosch recommends minimum 0.2 m3/s of air flow for the RD52.1-7N-037-L-NN-FW controller. If this amount of air flow is maintained then the ambient temperature will be within specified ranges and the controller will perform as per manufacturer specifications.
Several additional functions can be specified for RD52 series controller. However additional functions are not available on the RD52.1-7N-037-L-NN-FW controller. The firmware for the RD52 series controllers is ordered separately from the hardware. Technical data for the RD52.1-7N-037-L-NN-FW controller include 68 Amps rated current, 136 Amps peak current or 0.5 seconds and 45 KVA rated output. The inverter on the controller can tolerate ±10% variation in the input DC voltage. The specified power loss of the RD52.1-7N-037-L-NN-FW controller during normal operation is 0.8 kilowatts. Output of the controller derates at a rate of 2.5% per K if the ambient temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius. Bosch does not allow controller use at temperatures that are above 50 degrees Celsius. Only qualified and trained technical personnel should install and operate the controller and associate machinery. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
