The RD52.1-5B-055-L-FV-FW model is designed and manufactured by Rexroth Indramat and it comes with a converter and a power supply unit. The RD51.1 drive converter takes electrical power directly from the 3-phase AC 500 V power supply and the frequency of the input voltage is between 50 – 60 Hz. The model comes with a flux vector control option and the model is designed to operate at the PWM frequency of 4 kHz and 8 kHz. The model while operating at the PWM frequency of 4/8 kHz consumes the continuous current of 80/66 A. The output frequency of the unit is 0 – 500 Hz depending upon the requirement of the system. The model is equipped with a brake chopper that consumes the continuous power of 33 kW. The RD52.1 drive converter comes with a forced cooling option and uses ambient air for maintaining the internal temperature of the unit.
