The RD52.1-4N-160-F-V1-FW is a VFC voltage frequency converter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Voltage frequency control drives offer an economical drive solution for applications that do not need servo characteristics such as pumps, fans, moving gears, extruders, agitators, and conveyor belts. The drive works on a frequency-controlled basis; that is, the set value determines the output frequency.
The RD52.1-4N-160-F-V1-FW frequency converter offers high-performance and state-of-the-art use cases. It has a mains rectifier, an IGBT inverter bridge, a line choke for harmonic feedback reduction, a mains filter, and an electrical isolation mains contactor. Also, its nominal connecting voltage range is 380 – 480 V, with a +/- 10% tolerance. This variant does not have an integrated braking chopper. Its additional function is a 24 V standby power supply.
For this drive system's power section, forced air cooling with an internal liquid circuit is recommended.
