The RD 500 device series by Bosch Rexroth is a universal three-way drive system necessary for induction and synchronous motors. Its hardware and software are modular in design, allowing the drive system to be flexibly adapted to a specific drive application. The RD 500 device series includes various AC drive converters, inverters for DC supply, rectifier, and supply modules capable of regenerative feedback into the line supply. Devices in this series can be obtained as a separate subitem, as a system, or fully wired in the cabinet.
The RD52.1-4N-090-L-V1-FW is a converter in the RD 500 series with a three-phase supply voltage of 380 V to 480 V. It is typically used in chemical and process technology, machine tools, hoist- and conveyor technology, handling and assembly systems, and packing and foodstuff machines. It is commissioned using the operator panel with a graphical display, the RDwin PC user interface, and other interfaces.
