The RD 500 series consists of a series of AC drive converters, inverters for DC supply, and rectifier and supply modules capable of regenerative feedback into the line supply. The RD52.1-4N-030-L-NN-FW is a converter unit in the RD 500 series with a nominal connecting voltage of AC 380 to 480 V. It is a three-phase drive system with several uses. It is commissioned using the operator label with a graphical display or a PC with the RDWin software package. Different interfaces can be used to control, monitor, and parameterize the converter, including SERCOS, Profibus DP, Interbus A, CAN bus, and RS 232 / RS 485. It is equipped with Synchrolink, which allows fast communication when combined with other drives.
The RD52.1-4N-030-L-NN-FW is modular and designed to be mounted in cabinets. Its power section is designed for cooling at the rear, meaning that forced air cooling for the RD52.1-4N-030-L-NN-FW can be implemented with a high degree of protection. It is equipped with radio interference suppression filters and line reactors which reduce the harmonics fed back into the line supply.
