The RD52.1-4N-003-L-V1-FW is a universal three-phase drive. The input rating of the drive is 380 to 480 Volts AC and the output rating is 3 kilowatts. The drive can handle 200% overload for 0.5 seconds and 170% overload for 1 second. When used with 200 to 230 Volts AC input the output rating is 1.5 kilowatts. The RD52.1-4N-003-L-V1-FW includes support for 24 Volts standby power. This feature allows the control electronics to operate without connection to line supply voltage. Additionally data sets can be parameterized, read and written into the drive even though the converter is not connected to the line supply. The field buses can also operate even if the power supply is disconnected. An external 24 Volts DC power supply is required for the standby power feature. The converter on the RD52.1-4N-003-L-V1-FW is without a brake chopper.
The drive is designed for 0 to 40 degrees Celsius temperature and uses forced air cooling for maintenance of ambient temperature. The minimum air flow rate required for drive cooling is 0.03 m3/s. The rated power loss of the drive is 0.17 kilowatts. The drive housing belongs to the IP20 protection category. It offers protection from solid objects with 12 millimeter dimensions. The housing does not provide ingress protection against liquids.
