Mounted in a switch cabinet, it converts plant mains into regulated three-phase output for induction or synchronous motors. In machining cells, conveyor lines, and test stands, the unit manages torque and speed through closed-loop modulation so peripheral axes follow programmed motion profiles. Its cabinet-mounted layout keeps power conversion and control functions centralized, which is useful in installations that group multiple drive components in one enclosure.

The controller is rated at 160 kW, enabling it to drive large pumps or extruders without sacrificing dynamic headroom. It accepts a line window of 380 to 480 V and withstands ±10 % supply variation that is common in production plants. With a three-phase AC converter input, all three phases are processed symmetrically and returned through a shared DC link.
