The Bosch Rexroth RD52.1-4B-160-F-NN-NN-NN-FW is a RD 500 series drive. At 380 to 480 Volts AC input, it is rated for 160 kilowatts of power output. The drive can be operated, visualized and parameterized with the RDwin PC user interface, the user panel and other interfaces. RS-232 and RS-485 serial interfaces are installed as standard on the logic and control board of the drive. Optional interface cards including Interbus S, CAN bus and SERCOS can also be used for drive parameterization. A user panel with graphical display can be ordered as an accessory. The RD52.1-4B-160-F-NN-NN-NN-FW comes with built in converter with chopper. The chopper on the drive include a mains filter. Cooling mode on the drive is forced air cooling with integrated liquid circulation. The recommended ambient temperature range for drive operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
Bosch does permit operation of the drive at temperatures up to 50 degrees Celsius. However beyond 40 degrees, the output derates by 2.5% for every additional increase of the temperature by 1 degree Celsius. Operation of the drive at elevations that exceed 1000 meters also leads to output derating. When an unused RD52.1-4B-160-F-NN-NN-NN-FW drive is kept in storage or is being transported, the temperature of the surrounding air should be maintained between -25 and 70 degrees Celsius. Temperature variations greater than 20 K per hour are not recommended. The space used for drive storage should be clean and dry. The drive should also be protected from harmful vibrations. The converter and supply modules on the RD52.1-4B-160-F-NN-NN-NN-FW can be stored for a maximum period of 2 years at a storage temperature that does not exceed 40 degrees Celsius. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
