The Bosch Rexroth RD52.1-4B-132-F-VW-FW is a technologically advanced universal drive system. It has been developed for control of various induction motors and synchronous motors. The RD52 series is based on either a converter or an inverter. The RD52.1-4B-132-F-VW-FW drive is based on a converter with integrated brake chopper. The converter is rated for 380 to 480 Volts AC nominal input. Radio interference filters are integrated into the AC converter to reduce harmonics fed back in the AC supply. The RD52 drive series is immune to noise in conformance with EN 50082-2. The power output rating of the drive system is 132 kilowatts. The drive employs forced air cooling with liquid circulation for cooling. The drive features a removable user panel with parameter copy function. A 4-lin graphical display is also available and can be used for system monitoring.
The RD52.1-4B-132-F-VW-FW is earth-fault, idling and short-circuit proof. Optional communication interfaces including CAN bus, Profibus DP, SERCOS and RS-232 / RS-485 can be added to the drive depending on requirements. The RD52.1-4B-132-F-VW-FW is rated for 170% overload capability for 1 second. A type label is affixed to the RD52.1-4B-132-F-VW-FW and displays information including input and output ratings, the drive ordering code and the firmware details. The type label should be checked at the time of delivery to ensure that the received equipment complies with the order.
