By electronically replacing mechanical speed changes, it enables precise motion sequences needed in conveyor, pump, and fan duties across general manufacturing.

It applies field-oriented vector control to separate the magnetizing and torque-producing components of motor current, letting the control loop respond quickly to load disturbances. The incoming supply uses a Converter 3 x AC connection, and the device is rated for operation on 380 to 480 V networks found in standard factory distributions. Under these conditions, the power electronics can furnish up to 90 kW of continuous mechanical output, covering medium-to-high power axes without an external step-up transformer. A braking path is integrated through a built-in brake chopper, permitting rapid deceleration without stressing the DC link or requiring an external resistor bank. During power loss or service, the control electronics can remain active from an external 24 V standby power source, allowing parameter access and fieldbus communication while the main bus is de-energized.
