The RD52.1-4B-005-P-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RD 500 Drive Controllers series. It sits between the plant’s three-phase power network and an induction or synchronous motor, converting incoming energy into regulated output that follows digital speed and torque references from a PLC. By performing this task, the unit maintains stable motor behavior, supports vector-based positioning tasks, and helps minimize energy waste in conveyor systems, packaging machines, and other automated production cells. It is suited to applications that need controlled acceleration, steady low-speed operation, and repeatable response under changing load conditions.

Rated at 5.5 kW, the controller is supplied from a three-phase AC converter mains connection. The option block is not equipped, so all application-specific extension slots remain open for a matching control setup. Smaller cabinets can benefit from this layout because braking energy and cabinet heat are managed without separate cooling assemblies.
